Puppet Art/ Fabrication Experience

  • The art of Puppetry and Animatronics involves many artistic and creative disciplines as well as skills in writing, script editing, public presentation, video production and directing.
  • It also involves the designing and construction of PVC stages, props, costumes and sets.
  • It also requires designing and the sculpting of foam and fabric puppets.

The past history of  WATB Puppet Productions:

  • Owner with my children of this muppet style puppet company.
  • For four seasons we worked with children/young teens as well as adults in training and presenting public puppet productions.
  • Our Performance stage consisted of four tiers in a twenty-one foot wide by twelve foot high stage that was also 12 feet deep.
  • The park like setting was built with a PVC frame covered with foam and cloth panels .
  • We began developing WATB as an educational tool for home-schooled children whereby they could apply their creative abilities through writing, creating their own plays and developing puppet characters. We plan to develop this product further in the future.
  • As members of our team, young people could also develop both personal and corporate interactive skills.
  • We atempted to set up a non-profit, public, children's puppet theater in Seekonk MA. 1998

 

The ongoing story of WATB Puppet Productions:

  • It is our ongoing goal for the future to establish a new studio space and produce children's video product using our “We Are The Branches” tm Character base and concept.
  • We offer services to help you develop puppet promotions and commercial marketing.
  • We continue to pursue an interest in animatronics and robotics both in puppetry and in sculptural fabrication. We also hope that our children will follow suit in this creative endevor.
